This page explains how to remove your data from Racket Leagues — either selectively (just a single piece, like your profile picture or membership of one club) or by deleting your whole account. Both paths are free of charge and self-service; neither needs you to contact us.

Remove Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

Sign in to the Racket Leagues app and use one of the following, depending on what you want to remove:

• Remove your profile picture — Profile → tap your picture → Remove photo. Your account stays, but the uploaded image is deleted from our servers immediately.
• Edit or replace personal details — Profile → Edit details — change or shorten your display name, alias, first name, or last name. The old value is overwritten and not retained.
• Leave a specific club — Profile → tap the club → Leave club. Your membership of that club is removed and any pending matches are forfeited to your opponent; your account continues with your other clubs untouched.
• Turn off biometric unlock — Profile → toggle "Unlock with Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint" off. Clears the stored opt-in; your biometric data never left your device in the first place.

How to Delete Your Account

Delete your account directly from within the Racket Leagues app:

1. Sign in to the Racket Leagues app on iOS or Android.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap "Delete Account".
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted. The action is final and cannot be undone.

If you are the SUPER_ADMIN of one or more clubs: you must transfer ownership of each club to another member before your account can be deleted. From Profile, open the relevant club and use the "Transfer ownership" option. The app will prompt you if a transfer is needed.

What Is Deleted

• Your account credentials — email address, password hash, display name, alias, first name, last name, and phone number if added.
• Your profile picture, if uploaded.
• Your club memberships and any sport approvals attached to them.
• Your scheduled matches — any unplayed matches you were part of are forfeited to your opponent on your way out.
• Your biometric unlock settings and any opt-in flags.
• Your subscription preferences stored on our servers — see the Subscriptions section below for cancelling the billing side.

What Is Kept

• Anonymised match results — historical scores from matches you played remain in the league archive so the standings history of your former club stays truthful, but your name is replaced with "Former member".
• Limited server logs — rate-limit data and authentication audit trails are retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then automatically purged.

Subscriptions and Payments

If you currently subscribe to a Racket Leagues club via Apple or Google Play, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel that separately on the platform you subscribed through:

• iOS / iPadOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Racket Leagues → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Racket Leagues → Cancel.

We never see or store your card or bank details — Apple and Google handle billing on our behalf.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app installed, email us from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion within 14 days. We may ask for additional verification before proceeding to confirm you are the account owner.
